Safety Information
The First Aid station operation and official safety provider of the Greenville Pickens Speedway is operated by Bowers E.M.S. Certified EMTs are on site for each event. If you are in need of their attention at any time while you are on site, please notify the nearest GPS staff member, or report to the speedway tower in the grandstand area.
WARNING! SERIOUS INJURY TO SPECTATORS FROM FLYING TRACK DEBRIS CAN RESULT WHILE CARS ARE ON THE TRACK. WHEEL‑FENCING HELPS KEEP CARS FROM THE STANDS, BUT PIECES OF RUBBER, ROCKS, AND METAL PARTS MAY GET THROUGH. BY ACCEPTING YOUR SEAT, YOU ARE ACCEPTING THIS RISK.
Pit Passes/Arm Bands
Entry into the designated NASCAR pit area requires a NASCAR license. Licenses, Pit Passes, and Arm Bands can be obtained at the third turn NASCAR sign in booth. Arm Bands must be worn at all times while in the pits, and pit passes must be kept and presented on demand while in the designated pit area.

Camping Accommodations
Greenville Pickens Speedway offers full-service hookups for those race fans with campers and recreational vehicles. Ideal for large groups, families, seasonal campers and weekenders, our campground is clean, comfortable and well maintained, and is only steps away from the race day action on the speedway. The campground is located on the Upper South Carolina State Fairgrounds which adjoins the speedway property. Call (864) 269-0852 for rates and information.
Sheriff's Department
The Pickens County Sheriff’s Department is on site for each event at Greenville Pickens Speedway. Should you need their services, contact the nearest speedway staff member or report to the Sheriff’s Deputy located in the third turn office.
Speedway No-Nos!
For the safety of all race fans, the following things are not allowed at the Greenville Pickens Speedway: Pets (with the exception of approved service animals), bicycles, roller blades or skates, and/or skateboards. Glass bottles and coolers over 14″ wide are not allowed in the GPS grandstand area. Any chair with elevated legs is not allowed in the grandstand area, and a clear walkway behind your grandstand seat must be maintained at all times.
Rain Checks
Your speedway ticket will be stubbed upon your entry into the grandstand or backstretch area. Hold on to this ticket stub. If the event is not a complete race for whatever reason, your rain check will be accepted for entry into the next designated event.
Disabled Race Fans
The Greenville Pickens Speedway does not discriminate on the bases of race, sex, color, age, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, or disability in its programs, services, or activities. Every effort has been made to assure that all people can attend and enjoy the races. Handicapped parking is available, with select bathrooms offering handicapped access. Designated handicapped seating is also available in the GPS grandstand. Please let us know how we can best meet your needs in accessing any of our facilities or events.
